By sponsoring a young student’s full tour fee, Memory Trees provides far more than an opportunity to travel: we are opening the door to a formative international experience that would otherwise be beyond his family’s financial reach. The international rugby tour will expose him to different cultures, elite sporting environments, international competition and the discipline of travelling as part of a team ... building confidence, resilience, ambition and lifelong friendships. Our support ensures that financial circumstances do not limit a deserving learner’s potential, allowing him to return with broadened horizons, renewed self-belief and experiences that can positively shape both his future and his community.
Memory Trees’ charitable support and cash funding services directly strengthen The Nest Baby Haven’s ability to provide safety, warmth and essential care to vulnerable babies and their families during the critical early days of life. Donations enable the initiative to supply necessities such as diapers, formula, clothing and baby equipment, while also supporting community programs that reduce isolation, build parenting confidence and connect young families to health, housing and early-learning resources. By underwriting these services, we help to transform one-off gifts into sustained impact, ensuring that at-risk mothers and infants receive consistent, trauma-informed support that fosters long-term stability and healthier developmental outcomes.
Our humanitarian assistance services and funding are designed to help legitimate, legal refugees navigate the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program from referral through resettlement, in line with USCIS rules and eligibility criteria. We support applicants who meet the legal definition of refugee (persecution or fear of persecution based on race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group) to safely reach the United States. Once admitted, our services and funding further enables post-arrival support, employment authorization guidance, and help filing for permanent residency after one year, ensuring refugees can stabilize quickly, work legally, and integrate into their new communities.
Amicorp Community Foundation (ACF) is a catalyst for sustainable impact, connecting resources with meaningful change. Memory Trees works with US donors to fund ACF's global programs, including community development in Curaçao, building a vocational center for young people in South Africa, and promoting climate mitigation in the Philippines. Together, we are dedicated to creating a lasting positive impact through sustainable solutions ... that leave no one behind!
After developing a unique vision and model, a new school - Calling Academy - opened its doors in 2018 with four staff members in humble facilities, to 60 Grade 8 learners from an underprivileged area. Just over six years later, there are more than 600 learners in their three campuses combined, served by more than 45 staff members - truly a remarkable journey of growth!
Leather and Art by Memory Trees was a thriving art gallery and artisanal gift shop located in beautiful Lake Worth Beach, Florida. For three incredible years, we financially supported multiple beneficiaries in the United States - including local Florida artisans and artists - helping them to recover and flourish financially post-COVID. ZeroHunger, developed by Memory Trees, was an innovative app designed to connect individuals with essential food, healthcare, and social services during the COVID-19 pandemic. Launched across 84 countries and available in multiple languages, the app allowed users - located anywhere - to search for assistance programs anonymously, ensuring privacy and ease of use. ZeroHunger made a significant impact on communities in need, globally.
Memory Trees created professional architectural drawings and successfully constructed a permitted urban farm in Palm Beach, Florida. This project was made possible with generous support from various local community partners. Our goal was to empower Palm Beach County, Florida residents by teaching them how to plant, nurture, and harvest fresh produce. This fostered community engagement and encouraged participation in healthy outdoor activities.
Memory Trees is proud to have funded a STEAM educational program for a decade, impacting the learning of 750-1000 Palm Beach County, Florida students annually. This initiative focused on empowering young learners in lower-income areas through engaging workshops that emphasized literacy, arts and crafts, and hands-on science experiments. By complementing their public school education we inspired critical thinking, fostering a love for creativity, for every participant.
Memory Trees proudly served as a local sponsor and partner for Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities, in collaboration with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. As a funding partner for the national Green Schools program, Memory Trees contributed financial support and cash prizes to participating Palm Beach County Schools that excelled in environmental sustainability initiatives. These initiatives included planting fruit tree orchards and creating educational gardens at local schools.
Memory Trees proudly collaborated with local nonprofits to empower the next generation of young entrepreneurs. Our program supported young people aged 16-21, equipping them with essential business fundamentals, from startup strategies, to fundraising, and growth planning. Participants had the unique opportunity to pitch their innovative ideas in Shark Tank-style events, where they were able to secure seed funding to kickstart their ventures. More than one dozen new startups were funded and launched by Young Entrepreneurs, in southern Florida.
